A bit of a different one to finish the week off! 🌲🔨
Our customer has asked us to build a folly up in his woods, which he’ll be using as a backdrop for filming on his YouTube channel.
Definitely not your everyday project, but that’s what makes it exciting! We’re really looking forward to getting our teeth into this one, getting creative and seeing what we can come up with.

We’re now around 90% complete on this latest Castle Outer Bailey property, with only a handful of doors and windows left to install. Once those are fitted, it’ll be ready to hand over to the client. This six-bedroom stone home already looks fantastic—and it’s set to look even more impressive once the landscaping is complete.
This project began with essential structural works – carefully retaining and supporting the original timber lintel while undertaking masonry rebuilds to ensure the integrity of the property.
With the structure secure, we restored the inglenook nook to its former glory:
• Traditional lime plaster finish
• Expertly repointed stonework
• Slate hearth installation
• Preserved heritage character throughout
The result is a space that blends strength, craftsmanship and timeless charm – respecting the building’s history while creating a feature to be proud of.
