Ryan and Ross from Arcadian did a brilliant job constructing a sloping path for us from reclaimed York stone. They worked cheerfully in freezing conditions and went the extra mile to do a great job fitting the uneven shaped stones into a pattern which looks great. They also made sure everything was clean and tidy at the end of each day.

Ryan supervised and worked on a major restoration project at our period stone house for around four months. He demonstrated great skill in stonework, brickwork, and lime pointing – and in ensuring materials were delivered on time so that work was not held up. He was in charge of other craftsmen and his attention to detail was excellent. He consulted with us when further problems cropped up so that we were kept well informed of progress. He was also an extremely pleasant workman to have around and always made sure that the site was left clean and tidy at the end of the day. We would not hesitate to recommend him.
